Today several of my 5th grade students, who have supposedly been learning English for over two years, couldn't translate the word "eat" from Korean to English. They said they forgot.
Well, I bought Christmas lights, and all the overzealous Christians over here will be sure to make a huge deal of it. It's not traditionally Korean though, so most schools are in session even on the 24th. That is the end of their school year.
